Game 2 Wow what an ending!

I believe that I was about to have a heart attack but I was saved by a huge goal from Trey with less than 6 seconds left to tie the game at 4-4. This was a game of so many opportunities for both teams that just fizzled in front of the goal. We came out smoking in the first quarter with a goal by Logan Burke early but we could not get shot after shot into the net, then as is our protocol we fell asleep again in the 2nd, 3rd, and for the first time the 4th quarter until after going down 4-2. We did get a breakaway goal from Logan Voegele in the 2nd but also gave up one of our own on a breakaway to them. 0-0 in the 3rd with some stingy defense. In the 4th fast little number 4 just ran past us ans set up or scored 2 goals. The boys looked shocked at first but then you could see the fight in a few of the boys. We pressed with Burke and Trey, along with Caden, Voegele, and Rob just kept pushing. The back kept feeding ii back up especially with the help of John Finn.

We stressed to the boys that we looked good when we play our spots and we struggle when we don't. We need to stay aggressive and fight for that ball and fix the small things. This team has potential to make it far if we can stay focused, but I have to admit that a lot of boys struggle with that.
