Washington County Little League

About Us

Washington County Little League, while being a part of Virginia District 1 Little League, first chartered in 1969 and celebrated it's 50th year in 2019.  Washington County Little League is a non-profit organization striving to mold our county's young children into successful adults.  The league does this through demonstrating team building, moral and ethical conduct, individual self-confidence building, and the ability to meet and build on new friendships. The heart and soul of our league starts with volunteers.  Without volunteers there would be no league.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please let one of our board members know.

Mission

The objective of Washington County Little League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, heathy, and trustworthy citizens.

To achieve this objective, Washington County Little League will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball Incorporated, All Directors, Officers and Member shall bear in mind that the attainment of athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
