The B.A.A.A. has been a proud member of the Mountain Valley Youth Football League (MVYFL) for more than 30 years, Western Maryland Lacrosse since 2010 and Maryland Youth Indoor Football since 2009. There are five different levels within the football and cheerleading programs. Two instructional teams teach younger kids the game of football and the basics of cheerleading with coaches on the field and amongst the squads at all times. The remaining three levels afford kids the opportunity to participate in competitive games managed by high school officials. Every football team and level in the MVYFL is governed by age and weight restrictions. Kids compete with other kids their age and size! Our experienced coaching staffs work with your kids to teach them how to become better football players, better cheerleaders and better young people! The goal of our league is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates. BAAA offers Lacrosse from U7 thru U15 for bothe girls and boys. The U7 level is co-ed and offers an introductions to LAX and some level of competitive games. U9 - U15 games are all managed by certified referees. In 2013 BABBL became part of BAAA to continue our local Boys Basketball league, we have 21 teams competing from third thru eighth grade. BAAA also started wrestling in 2013 and has over 63 wrestlers in our inaugural season.
We sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our league is a positive influence in the lives of our children. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children, opportunities for the community to gather together, and endless hours of entertainment. We welcome all children regardless of race, creed or national origin.
